Auntie Dog

This is Homer. He's special. My beloved dog had many behavioral issues related to his sad rescue tale. He was fear aggressive, had a scary bark, and reserved a special hatred of men with beards. He thought balloons were very, very bad. I didn’t know how to deal with a “Dog with Issues” and after some deep thinking, I introduced Homer to Liz. After a month at Camp with Auntie Dog, Homer is amazingly agreeable and often calm. He is more confident, cooperative, and accepting of a much wider range of experience! I don’t dread taking him places anymore! Also, I’m learning how to manage him, and plan to continue Graduate School classes. I love that critter even more, now. Thank you, Auntie Dog!

Auntie Dog has been a godsend for my 1 year old, easily excitable Frenchie. I opted for one on one classes with Liz and couldn’t be happier with the progress after just a few weeks. She has incorporated dogs from her upper-level training classes for real-life scenario training, which is above and beyond for what I expected. My girl loves going to school each week and I love being able to comfortably walk her without pulling/jumping to greet people we pass. Thank you Liz!

The trainers are very helpful, they set a good pace and address each owner/dog pairs individualities. Very happy with my puppy's progress.

Charlie and I started our journey with Auntie Dog last June, when my pup was 16 months old. Charlie had no behavioral issues, I just wanted to tighten up his obedience and just have fun and provide him some stimulation. He is such an intelligent dog, and I find working with your dog makes the bond that much stronger. I have learned so much, more than I could ever imagined, and we continue to learn. Charlie has since received his CGC and we continue to train in obedience and rally and hope that someday he will earn a title. Liz is wonderful and her years of experience shine through. I am very lucky to have made that first step in having her evaluate Charlie. We came for training, we did both private and group beginner classes, because my puppy Brynn had taken to nipping at me and pulling her leash, over all very difficult dog making it unpleasant to work with. After just two lessons there was a huge improvement. Today we graduated class and I have the papers and tools I need to refer back to our training to continue correcting my dogs behavior confidently. Each trainer here is nice and confident of their skills. We worked with Liz, always a pleasant and respectful environment. Affordable as well. I would recommend to anyone with puppy or older dog.
