Quite simply, Lauri is amazing! Our mini Aussie, Loretta was a pandemic puppy who started life in Sonoma County. She wasn’t very well socialized or used to city living. She was afraid of or maybe protective against big dogs which made taking her for walks a challenge. Lauri won her over immediately. Her thoughtful approach to training and socialization has made a HUGE difference. Loretta loves going out with her pack and she is a delight to walk with us. A huge bonus is the beautiful photos that Lauri sends every day. I don’t know how she gets all the dogs to pose so perfectly but I love it. And I love seeing how happy Loretta is playing all over the city. I spent a lot of time searching for a positive reinforcement dog trainer before finding Lauri. Having lived in three different cities, I’ve worked with multiple R+ trainers, and Lauri was by far my favorite. My dog did 1:1 training with Lauri (and Lauri trained me too! 😊), joined group walks (which were AMAZING!), and even stayed at Lauri's house for two weeks while I was on vacation. I sometimes think about moving back to San Francisco just to work with Lauri again! Thanks to Lauri, my doodle became a more confident dog with a solid recall and came home fulfilled every day after walking with Lauri’s group. I can’t recommend Lauri enough! We have been working with Lauri for several months since our Bernedoodle, Poppy, was about 5 months old. To put it simply, Lauri has been nothing short of incredible. When we first started working with them, Poppy was just learning to walk on a leash and despite our best efforts, she had tons of energy and didn't know the proper and polite ways to redirect that to both dogs and people. Lauri is an incredible dog trainer, not just because she has been so good with our wild little dog, but also because she has been patiently teaching me to be a good dog owner and she was masterful in helping my children get involved in Pebbles's training. Pebbles, a Cavalier King Charles Spaniel, is a fun but wild little dog and Lauri has consistently worked with her to become well mannered and socialized inside and outside of the house.
