Best decision I have ever made. When I got there, they explained the whole process and let me hang out with the cats for as long as I needed to. They did not rush me at all, and volunteers spent a lot of time explaining all I wanted to know about the cats in the shelter, as well as their background stories. I ended up falling in love with Cali and brought her home that same day. They gave me blankets, food and toys to take home so she felt comfy. Although very shy at the beginning, she has been with me for almost a year and now she is the most loving, sweet and cuddly cat you will find (especially with food involved). Thank you for taking such good care of these angels!!!!

My boyfriend and I adopted our cat Juniper (formerly Evergreen) from here about a month ago, and we couldn’t have had a better experience! The staff was very friendly and helpful, and there is plenty of room in the shelter to get to interact with and get to know the cats. When we adopted her, the shelter also sent us home with food, a bed, and some toys!

Anti-Cruelty society helped me pick the perfect companion about a year ago and I am eternally grateful. Before making a permanent decision the Society allowed me to bring him into my home for one week to see how he’d interact with my senior dog, before making a permanent decision. After the first night, I knew he wasn’t going back!! Duke (formerly known as Juan Gabriel) was 9 months when he came into my home and we just celebrated his 2nd birthday. He’s the sweetest, most affectionate and mild mannered cat I’ve ever seen. Thank you Anti-Cruelty Society.

The staff here were cordial, professional, and made the adoption process straightforward and easy. I really appreciated that the environment was clean, and the cats looked healthy and happy. It’s been a month since I adopted my first cat from Anti-Cruelty, and I wanted to share a few photos of this sweet boy. In just one month, he has brought so much happiness and peace into my life simply by being here. I’m proud that he now feels comfortable and happy in my home. One thing I’d like to note for new cat owners: a cat’s personality can change once they settle in and feel safe. As they grow more comfortable and trusting, they may also become a bit naughtier—running around at midnight, chewing charging cables, or even peeing on your sheets. This is a sign that your cat feels secure enough t

I adopted my two new additions to the family just two days ago during the adoption event. The staff were warm and welcoming. They covered everything with me during the adoption process and provided me with all the necessary items/ information upon leaving. Adopting Moo and Charcoal was the best and easiest decision ever.
