The doctors and staff at Animal Wellness Clinic are top notch! My cat started acting funny one day and stopped eating, which is unlike her. I took her into AWC and even though my cat can be difficult around strangers, they investigated thoroughly and found that she had a piece of a toy lodged in her small intestine. I’m so thankful to Dr Powe and Dr Biles for acting quickly and saving my cat’s life. They continued to give her excellent care post surgery and she is now fully healed and back to her usual self. My kitty would not have made it much longer without their help. I highly recommend AWC!

I’m writing this review to share my experience as a longtime pet parent and someone who came to this clinic hopeful, trusting, and truly liking Dr. Powe in the beginning. In early visits, Dr. Powe was personable, complimentary, and seemed invested. However, things changed significantly when my dog developed recurring urinary issues. After multiple rounds of antibiotics, I was told during an appointment that an ultrasound showed “a mass on his bladder wall.” She recommended to come back in 10 days for a confirmation ultrasound. I returned and another ultrasound was performed. She then came back into the exam room and stated, “it’s still there” and that it had become “more prominent,” and that it might require a biopsy. I would not recommend this vet practice for simple annual vaccinations and definitely not anything more serious that required knowledge or expertise in the field of small animal veterinarian care. The facility is an old worn out unkept dirty trailer and Dr Mike Biles has probably not read a animal medical journal or advanced his original antiquated veterinarian degree in any form or fashion since he graduated decades ago. He demonstrated such rudimentary outdated knowledge during my recent visit to his office. He dismissed my dogs issues and I had to request he perform additional tests in his office and had to request he refer me to Auburn’s Gulf Shores Vet clinic to accurately diagnose and care for my dog. Absolutely cant say enough about Dr Powe and her team. From the moment you step in the door they are fully attentive and ready to help. I've gone through a really rough time with one of my felines with little to no answers on her condition before coming to Dr Powe for her help. My only regret is NOT coming to her sooner. She has given my sweet girl a much better quality of life. She and her staff care for your pet as you do. Highly recommend and cant say enough good things about all of them.

Dr Biles is wonderful with our 2dogs , one 18lbs the other 120lbs . Staff Very helpful and great with my 2 babies. I would recommend them to anyone that loves their animals
