103 southwest highway has some of the most nastiest rude unprofessional people ever . They accept surrendered animals but this short African American lady that works there in front is horrible.. so unprofessional and ignorant

Very disappointed these folks didn’t acknowledge me at their facility nor answered the phone, regardless if they were full or not. I had to drive all the way to their sister site to learn they really were open. They don’t care about drop offs.

Took my cat there because I couldn't have pets where I moved to and the lady told me all they can do is put her down. Like what type of place is this...they're not there to help

Animal Welfare League is AWFUL!!! A few years ago, we took my dog there to get treatment, they called us saying she passed but a few weeks later my moms friend saw she was posted up as one of their “new dogs” for sale. They tried denying it but she had a bleach stain and 3 legs. That was our girl. We did end up getting her back, but AWL is a terrible place, and i hear they’re still continuing this awful behavior.

Called here for my client to ask about pet food pantries because AWL came up as a resource. Before I could even finish my sentence the man on the phone cut me off with a careless "no we don't." I pressed and asked if they knew where I should call instead and before I could get half of that sentence out, another "no I don't." So my impression is no, they don't. They don't give a crap about their mission, your pet, or animals. Which is pretty alarming and depressing because that's why they exist and who knows what they are actually doing here.
