We had such a wonderful experience at the Animal Hospital while preparing my grandparents’ dog for travel to Argentina. Dr. Porru was absolutely fantastic. She went above and beyond to make sure their dog had all of the required vaccinations and carefully completed all of the necessary paperwork for international travel. Traveling with a pet can be overwhelming, but Dr. Porru and the team took the time to answer all of my grandparents’ questions and made sure they felt completely comfortable with the process. Their professionalism, kindness, and attention to detail truly stood out. We are so grateful for everything they did to make this a smooth and stress-free experience. Highly recommend Dr. Porru and the entire team to anyone looking for exceptional veterinary care!

My dad brings my dog in because of a dog attack. (I was still at home when he took her) They immediately charged him $550. And wanted to immediately euthanize my dog because they thought that he was there for that. (For some reason they always assume you're there to euthanize your dog) Absolutely disgusted. I wouldn't come here. They were pretty ignorant about it too. So maybe dont come here if you dont want your animals to die during the night. We're definitely not coming back because this is ridiculous. Edit: if you post a negative review they will call you and harass you about it 🤷‍♂️.

I like this clinic more and more with every interaction. They are the only clinic in SSM to dispense medications from vetwise for non clients. We are very happy to be clients of Dr Porru & clinic staff now. I know my pet is in great hands here.

Took my cat here several years ago for an ear issue. Spent hundreds of dollars across multiple visits and the problem has never been corrected or even properly diagnosed. It became unaffordable for me to continue going back for just "ear cleanings" every month, with seemingly no actual permanent solution to my cat's ear problems, so I just stopped going. I've spent the last half-dozen years doing the cleaning at home, as it's really not that difficult, anytime I noticed him starting to scratch or shake his head. Called here again, recently, and left a message asking if I could get some ear mite medication. I suspected mites because of a drastic increase in scratching and head shaking, as well as other common mite symptoms. The medication is only about $30 but is locked behind a presc
