Animal Harbor

What a great experience to adopt a new addition to our family! The ladies were very sweet, patient, informative to the background of the pets. If your considering a new family member… I highly recommend Animal Harbor.

I couldn't be happier about my experience at Animal Harbor. The staff was warm and supportive, the space clean, and I truly got the feeling that they all genuinely cared for every animal in their care. Every person there put me at ease and truly cared. I'm so glad that Animal Harbor is here. It's obvious how much intentionality, thoughtfulness and dedication the staff puts into doing their best and going above and beyond. Emily Holland (the director) was especially helpful and kind, answering every question with knowledge and patience. She never made me feel like my abundance of questions was a bother, and spent a lot of time answering them and helping me! All this to say, I fully appreciate and support Animal Harbor!!

A few months ago my parents in CONNECTICUT adopted a dog from Animal Harbor. The staff was very professional, patient, informative, and honest. My parents had not met their dog in person before adopting, but virtually. We had put our trust in the hands of the humane society… and it really worked out. Aria was healthy, and the humane society had taken care of all the headaches of getting a new dog. My parents did not have to worry about health conditions, spaying/neutering, chipping, heart worm or tick treatment. My parents love the dog. And we would recommend Animal Harbor and their staff to any one looking for a pet. P.S. the transport company they used (Rescue Riders) was great too.

We have 3 beautiful souls to snuggle, play, and love thanks to @animalharborfc But it’s more than that. Due to the unwavering love and support the Animal Harbor staff members and volunteers show these furry babies, these babies moved into our home without fear. Because of the fostering and training the staff provide, these babies weren’t terrified to be in a new home but HAPPY to be here. Never ever have I adopted a cat that didn’t run and hide the first day, but our 2 kitties hopped on the bed and curled into laps within minutes! And what can we say about, Daphne, the pup. Despite being homeless with a horrible start in her life, her soul is full of love and friendliness. She’s beyond special and kind, and it’s NO DOUBT to me that this is due in large part to the staff/volunteers. As

They are very friendly and so willing to help with whatever they can. Awesome bunch of people who love animals.
