This is our second rescue with ADL within the last 6 months and we couldn't be happier with our growing fur family. The staff at both SA locations were extremely helpful and knowledgeable about the adoption process. Special shout out to H.E.B. who supplies a take home bag of Heritage Ranch dog food and a folder filled with resources and coupons.

I adopted my fur baby from the Animal Defense League 10 years ago, and I still can’t thank them enough for the gift they gave me. The staff was compassionate, patient, and genuinely cared about matching me with the right dog — and they absolutely did. My boy changed my entire life. He was my best friend, my comfort, and my joy for a decade. Even all these years later, I’m still impressed with how dedicated and loving this organization is. They don’t just rescue animals — they help build families. I’ll always be grateful for the care they gave him before I could, and for giving me the chance to love him for the rest of his life. Thank you, ADL, for everything you do. You made my world better in a way I can never repay. 🐾❤️

went there to get cat neutered. didn't like the ear tipping thing. there are other ways than cutting off part of a cat's beautiful ear, come on, do not tell me there aren't because i won't believe you. they also kept my cat's collar, just said we throw those away. sorry, i am unhoused right now and 5.65 for a collar is alot to me.

My boyfriend and I adopted our first kitten together here, and everyone was so sweet and helpful! We ended up taking home a sweet Tortie with opposable thumbs!! Loved everyone's vibe, the smoothness of the process, and the thouroughness they explained everything when filling out paperwork!
