Come adopt! Start with a walk through. Comfortable Av hall way where you can see the dogs through the glass . Some have access to the outdoors as well as indoor pens. Clean, spacious but they all need you. We came to donate beds , they have a little store, outside large patio all across the street from the zoo. Great staff. Free parking on the side of building. A good walk on a rainy or hot day.

On 1/23, we became the owners of the ADL-named puppy Ghostie. Two weeks later, Nibby has become a part of our family. It's not easy, but it's definitely worth it! The staff at ADL were so warm and knowledgeable about the animals we asked about, which really put us at ease. Knowing that she was already spayed, microchipped, and had her initial vaccines not only saved us money but also gave us confidence that we were giving her a great start. Most of all, supporting the excellent work of the ADL brings so much joy to our family!

We went for the vaccination and chipping event. They were very helpful and friendly and thoroughly explained our options and were prompt and spot on with the time they estimated I would have to wait. They talked me through the shot process and handled my doggie gently so she would not feel traumatized. Thank you!

A great experience. We adopted our 3 legged dog Dennis Hopper from here and he's been amazing!! Awesome people here.
