Animal Clinic of Rapid City

I am so grateful to the staff who were so professional and compassionate when I brought in my therapy dog who had passed on the way to the hospital. They offered us the option of receiving her ashes, and I was so emotional when they told me! They cleaned my beautiful girl up and brought her in so that my son, her son, and I, could all say goodbye. It has only been 2 days, and I'm still in a state of shock, but to have a staff treat us with so much compassion and respect, helped me hold it together at that moment of one of the greatest losses I've faced. Thank you all!

This clinic is the best clinic i have ever been to in Rapid City. I have been bringing my animals here for over 15 yrs and will not stop. The staff from the front desk to the veterinarians are wonderful kind people who love on your animals like they are their own. They keep you informed up to date and answer any and every question you have or may have. I personally really love Dr. Keith as she has taken care of all my dogs and now my cat with care, love, kindness, and respect. This wonderful group of amazing people have been a huge help with my animals and I wouldn't/will not take them to a different vet ever again after the other 5 I had tried, I will always come back and stay with them.

The vet a nurse we had for are dog was the absolute best. I have took 4 of my other dogs to spearfish vet a the job gets done but rapid vet made it fun an it seems like they loved rheee job ( and my dog ) thank you rapid vet.

Honestly I spent three hours reading reviews this morning while trying to figure out what was best for my dog. Upon reading reviews I was nervous to come back. I came here April of 2025 when my dog cut an artery open, they were absolutely amazing during that entire experience until, a couple days after the stitches were put in they were coming out and the opening wasn't fully shut, they said I can either keep it clean and hope it heals well but they recommend I go back in for stitches, on my dime. I ultimately decided he'd be okay, wed keep it clean, and he is in fact doing great. Well this morning shortly after midnight my dog started throwing up, fast forward 8 hours, 3 hours of constant puking, and 5 hours of dry heaving with light puking, we went in. Once again they were ABSOLUTELY AMA

My daughter in law took her family cat to 24 hr clinic this am . For follow up medical service My wife and myself went into the clinics exam room with daughter. The tech brought her cat in room she said the Dr would be in after you say goodbyes to your pet .Vet came in we asked once again what was the final diagnosis the doctor still couldn’t give us an answer after running and reviewing blood test and all type types of test that Veterinary suggested. I also spoke with the and different veterinary the previous night for my daughter because the veterinarian she saw did not explain all the test properly what they were for and results of each test .Finally the that Dr still had no conclusion to what was wrong .As you know when you take your (pet)family member to a 24 hr clinic for emergenc
