Cornerstone Animal Clinic - Dr Michael Anderson

This pet clinic is very clean, offers a wide variety of services, and the workers are friendly and take the time to listen. I have never felt rushed. I also like the honesty of the practicing veterinarians. They explain procedures, etc so that all of my family can understand what the issue is so that we can make the best decisions for our pets. So far they have not been wrong on any diagnosis we have received. Prices are in the medium range, but well worth it with the service received.

I brought my 4-month-old puppy to Cornerstone Veterinary Clinic, and the experience was outstanding. This was the second vet I tried in town, and the quality of care from Dr. Mahlen far exceeded my previous experience. She took the time to thoroughly explain what to watch for and consider as my puppy grows, which was so helpful and reassuring. Dr. Mahlen was incredibly patient, caring, and informative. She spent more time with us than I ever expected, and it showed how much she truly cares about her patients and their owners. I left feeling confident and well-informed. I have known Dr Anderson for years. He is an excellent, caring and compassionate veterinarian. Super cool and talented guy! I am ecstatic to have my puppers in his and Dr. Mahlen's care. They got us in quickly and the transfer from another clinic was fast and easy. Outstanding overall service from the front desk to the tech to the doc.

Dr Anderson is the best vet in the rapid city area in my humble opinion! Very consultative Very detailed Very good about only doing/ prescribing whats absolutely necessary I highly recommend Great staff too!

Our cat was bitten by a rattlesnake and Dr. Anderson did everything he could to save her. We were so very blessed that she pulled thru and that Dr. Anderson was her vet. The Black Hills is very fortunate to have a knowledgeable and caring vet that we can turn to for everyday needs and in time of crisis.
