Brought our new puppy here for the first visit. They made us feel right at home and were very helpful and happy for us to be there. Our puppy liked it so much she even napped while we were there for the appointment.

This was my first time at this clinic, and I want to start by saying the veterinary team itself was wonderful. The doctor and techs were kind, patient, and handled my dog thoughtfully. I truly appreciated the care and professionalism once we were in the exam room. However, my experience with the front desk was disappointing. I arrived 15 minutes early and called from outside to ask if we could wait in the car until the doctor was ready, as my dog is reactive and I was trying to minimize stress for everyone. The response I received felt dismissive. When I went inside briefly to complete paperwork and asked what the date was, none of the three reception staff acknowledged me. When I said I would wait in my car, I was asked, with noticeable attitude, “Did they say you have to wait in the car

Recently moved back to the Rapid City area. Moving somewhere can be stressful when trying to schedule and find a new, great vet for my babies. We decided to try Mountain View based on their great online reviews and other positive recommendations from co-workers. Their online booking process was very simple and I was able to get in the very next day. I have a Great Pyrenees/Anatolian shepherd puppy and two adult dachshund dogs. We saw Dr. Elizabeth for the Great Pyrenees pup and she was absolutely phenomenal. She listened to our concerns, did a thorough check and an immediate care plan. The entire office staff was very friendly and you can tell they all love animals. We will definitely be permanent patients! Can’t wait to take the wiener dogs in next. Dr Merideth has been so kind and thorough with my dog. He had heart worm two years ago and the entire staff has been so loving with him. I am confident in their care.

We are new to Rapid city, a recent transplant from New York. Brought my rabbit Ash in with a problem with one of his eyes. Ash is a senior bunny and was born with a serous eye infection in both eyes leaving him blind. He had to have eye surgery in NY in 2018 on both eyes and have the lens replaced. One of the lens just recently got scratched and that is what we are treating now. The doc was very gentle with him- he's a little guy. Got meds to treat any infection . Ash is doing great! Zooming around the house with his crazy housemate Woody a senior pitbull. We have a follow up with Dr. Heig this week. Thanks doc and staff for the care you have given my little one!
