Found an amazing cat. They had plenty of options and the price was minimal. Summer (who helped us), was amazing! She explained everything in detail. Would definitely recommend. There was a bit of a wait, but it was worth it.
On may 3rd we got Jupiter , and I love her. Even in her shy moments she kinda opened up a bit and let me touch her. But she let me know when she didn’t wanna be pet anymore. Anyways besides the point the first photo is when I first got her n the other 3 are a few days after she started coming out more n exploring (don’t mind the litter box pic I just thought it was funny 😭)
I filled out my form online of which animal I wanted which is a cat. When you go you will need to scan an QR to know when you will be next in line , the wait time outside usually be like 10 minutes then after the staff will tell you to come inside and browse . The staff was very helpful they make sure to explain every details. Thank you Kourtney and everyone else. I would suggest this place because you don't need to wait for days to hear back. First come first serve basis
Absolutely fantastic experience! Zipporah was wonderful in assisting me with the adoption of my kitty. The follow-up has been brilliant, with emails and zoom sessions. I urge you to adopt at ACC, in every borough!
Went along with someone to adopt, the cats were kept in cages. Some workers were nice but once we walked it, the environment was very serious. Felt like a hospital and once we sat down inside it felt like an interview lmao. We weren't allowed to touch the cats due to a dog at home not having recent vaccines. I found this very absurd since all the animal shelter I've volunteered at and been have never forced any sort of rule like this. Main issue was I felt very infantilized as me and the person I are 19, so they decided us to treat us like 5 year olds who were just born on this Earth.
