Public Service Announcement: Amazing Grace Animal Rescue is adopting out sick cats with Feline Panleukopenia (FPV). Last Saturday (1/24/26) we adopted two new bundles of joy. Meet Rowen (previously named Thomas), a 16 week old male kitten and Mazie (previously known as Waffles), a 2.5 year old female. Yesterday, (1/30/26), we had to say goodbye to baby Rowen. After several days of being sick and two trips to our vets office, we decided to let his little body rest. Our hearts are broken. Rowen was diagnosed with Feline Panleukopenia (FPV)- a highly contagious often fatal viral disease, especially in kittens. After adoption, we realized that he had also never been tested for feline leukemia (FeLv) this was not disclosed to us prior to adoption, it was however listed on his history paperwor

We adopted our sweet girl from this rescue and had a great experience! Vaccines and her being fixed when old enough is included with the small fee we paid for stealing everyone’s heart in the house 💗 I would highly recommend checking out their cute babies that need homes ✨

I adopted a cat from them and I was very happy with my experience. Everyone was so kind and the animals seemed very well cared for and happy. My cat adjusted fairly quickly after adoption and I think that could be largely due to being so well cared for at Amazing Grace while in between homes. It is also a huge plus that they already had him vetted (neutered and utd on shots). I love that they are no kill and you can really tell how much they love the animals. 🐾❤️

I’m pretty sure the first photo is my girl ‘Kitty’ (now Stevie) I adopted from here in Dec. 2021! She such a sweet, well-behaved cat and gets along very well with my other cat. She’s really goofy, tends to pose like a model for the camera, and I’m pretty sure she can see through time and space with those eyes, lol. I think this is a great shelter and they do the best job they can with the resources they have available. 100% recommend adopting a cat from here.

These people basically just pick up cats off the street and put them up for adoption immediately. They DO NOT have the cats checked by a vet. Also most cats in there are not friendly they’re quite aggressive and have severe respiratory issues they are also not quarantined they are with the other healthy cats. All that is doing is spreading the virus even more. I was there when I adopted my Kitten they had the center part full of sick cats that were sneezing and throwing mucus all over outside the crate. Who would run to adopt a cats that are clearly in distress that are having difficulty catching their breath in between sneezes and have mucus all over their face and crate? My cat seemed fine when I got a sneeze here a sneeze there no big deal now that it’s been about a week it was clearly
