I recently adopted Onyx, a 3-year-old pittie mix from the Brookhaven Animal Shelter, and they recommended Alex when I inquired about a trainer. From our very first phone call, Alex took the time to listen and ask thoughtful questions about what I knew of Onyx’s background and what I had observed during the short time he’s been with me. My review will be long. So please read it if you are seriously looking for a dog trainer who knows what he is doing. I have a female 5 years old Pekingese who was rescued from puppy mill. She is my first dog and we adopted her about two weeks ago. I understand that rescued dog, especially from puppy mill, takes time and patience. I spent two weeks side by side with her and gained her trust. She fully trust me now and she behaves really well outside. Right around two weeks passed, she started to bark aggressively to all the visitors and noises coming from the entrance. Unfortunately she bit my relatives(nothing serious, it’s a small scratch).
