Had a great first experience at Agoura Animal Clinic. I called in about my guinea pig and spoke with Kai, who was incredibly kind and compassionate. By my good luck and blessings, she helped me find a same-day Saturday appointment when most other clinics were booked! Dr. Zeilinger was fantastic—very knowledgeable and experienced with guinea pigs. She explained everything clearly and made sure my pet was well cared for, providing options to run a full diagnostic. Even though the clinic was a bit of a drive for me, it was absolutely worth it. My guinea pig is doing much better thanks to their care and her taking the prescribed medications. Highly recommend, especially if you have small pets.

I’ve been coming here for years and today’s experience with Dr. Jason blew me away so much so that I had to leave a review. Dr. Jason sat on the floor with my big dogs to get them comfortable and get tons of kisses from them before examining them. This relieved their anxiety and made it easy to get a full exam. He then took the time to share his WEALTH of knowledge on clinical studies of dog nutrition, habits and mental behavior attributes. I felt like I was in dog therapy by a neuroscientist expert. Then he provided a wealth of discharge notes on the ideal food, habits and behavior techniques all backed by credible animal (rather than human-focused) experts. We've been taking our dogs to Agoura Animal Clinic for 20+ years. All of the vets have taking great care of multiple dogs over the years, including some through illnesses and cancer. We had a recent experience that was above and beyond the already great experience we've had over the years. One of my very active and large dogs had a small lump that we had removed (small mass cell tumor). It was in a place that required him to have no activities while he healed. One week into his two week recovery, he popped all of the stitches out. Despite this being late in the day, Dr. Zeilinger stitched him back up that night. We have always taken our pets to Agoura Animal Clinic!! They truly “go the extra mile” for their patients. We recently adopted a new dog from the Van Nuys shelter and the astute team at Agoura Animal Clinic saw that there was something wrong with our new furry friend. They discovered that emergency surgery was needed and cleared their schedule to perform it. We are so grateful that our sweet dog is now feeling much better— all thanks to the awesome care she received here. I take my 3 dogs here. The vets and techs have always been excellent. Not cheap, but not overpriced. They don't aggressively try to upsell like many of the "corporatized" vet clinics.
