Advanced Animal Care Emergency

I had the absolute best experience ever at Advanced Animal Care in Richmond, KY! Dr. Combs, Victoria and the vet tech (Maddie I think) were all so wonderful! They explained everything, were so caring and compassionate and took care of my baby, Zoe! At a time where my stress level was extremely high due to having to take her to an emergency vet, they made the visit and her care so much more comforting! She is on the mend and finally getting back to herself! ❤️

On Thanksgiving Day, We had to make the hardest decision for our beloved 13 year old Lila. The compassion that was shown to not only our precious Lila, but to my daughter and myself. My husband had to unexpectedly put our cat down a few nights ago. We live over an hour away so I had to call and inquire about getting care for our boy. The receptionist was extremely helpful and sweet and talked to me about help with financial concerns and of my course care concerns. When my husband took our cat to be seen they were extremely quick and precise with giving our cat the care he needed. Unfortunately our cat had to be unexpectedly put down, but the staff and veterinarian was extremely helpful, kind, and just overall provided excellent care. They even sent my husband home with viles of his fur and paw and nose prints for us. That was extremely kind of them and we are very appreciative of the kindness we were treated with. The pricing was even very reasonable. I highly recommen

I absolutely love this place. I’ve only been here once and I had taken my kitten in as she was throwing up, not eating, or using the bathroom. She is still in the hospital ATM as they are trying to treat her for renal failure. But I will say Dr. Thomas is the absolute sweetest. She was with us the whole LONG visit tho I don’t blame them it was very busy. She did give me the option to euthanize my baby or have them try and get her kidneys functioning again. And as she was speaking to us it was clear she was heartbroken as well and that just shows how much she cares for these pets. It did seem like a really low hope that my baby would not be able to make it but she’s been there for one night and tmr will make it two nights and she’s definitely showing some improvement. Sunday evening, my boyfriend and I had rushed my dad’s dog here. He unfortunately had to get one of his back legs amputated. We were all terrified and worried, it was a very upsetting thing to have happened, but the workers were so kind and helped get him out of our car and into the building. I can’t remember the names of anyone but the doctor and a receptionist (Dr. Crabtree and Jennifer I believe) but they were all so helpful and nice to us. They showed us an act of kindness that we are extremely grateful for and I will never forget how wonderful they made this experience for both us and our dog.
