Core K9 Training

Core K9 was absolutely incredible with my dog, Nova. She stayed with them for about four weeks when I was in the process of moving, and the progress she made was more than I could’ve hoped for. They worked on her reactivity, leash walking, off-leash recall, basic obedience, and even her demand barking, and she came home a noticeably more confident, well-mannered, and happy dog. I am now able to confidently walk and be with Nova in public without feeling like she is out of control. Nova absolutely adored Clayton and Amber. She genuinely looked forward to seeing them, which made the whole experience even better. Our two girls were loving and playful with each, and then after an early spay and infection our 8mth old Rottweiler acted out towards our 6yr old pocket Pitmix. We had to completely separate them. It was very stressful and chaotic in our home. We knew we needed the right trainer for our situation and it was very important to find someone that was familiar with large breeds, high energy dominance, for both a puppy and older dog sibling rivalry. I can't recommend Core 9 enough! I have 2 1/2 yr old Sable Shepherd. He was fear based defensive with everyone except with me and my husband. We are very out of the way and see no one. New neighbors started using their land and there was no controlling my boy. They offered the 6 week boarding and training. The first day interview my boy was taking treats out of her hand. It improved quickly from there. The most important part was my training days every Friday. I will be for ever grateful for the wonderful treatment and training we received. Other trainers had turned him down after 1 phone call. Please give them a call.

We cannot say enough good things about CoreK9. We had the best experience and we would recommend Amber and Clayton to anyone. We did the 4 week board and train program. We went in with our male GSD with obedience issues and reactivity problems. One of our biggest issues was pulling on walks. The turnaround that our pup had has quite literally amazed us. We can now take Oskar on stress free walks, hikes, stores, parks, etc. Amber and Clayton were super awesome and communicated well. They made us very comfortable and didn’t make us feel overwhelmed during our training sessions. They are both extremely knowledgeable and supportive. Amber and Clayton are some of the only few people I trust with my dogs! We go to their structured daycare and it has helped my dogs with training, socialization, and exercise! One of my dogs was not the best behaved around other dogs. By taking her to structured daycare, she was able to get the supervised socialization she needed to realize she can exist around others! Amber took the time to allow her to adjust to meeting her personal dogs and to see that she’s not aggressive, she just gets excited. I am so thankful for these two and how they care for dogs! My poodles love going to daycare! 1000% worth our 40 min drive to see them!
