Active! Dog Daycare and Boarding

After 10 years of daycare and extensive boarding for all 4 of our dogs, I can safely say Active is the BEST in the city, bar none. In addition to the friendliness of all the staff, Alex and his management team are easy to communicate with, prices are extremely reasonable, and you will never worry about your pups in their care. The love and care they have for the dogs could not be more apparent. We have boarded our pups for 2 weeks at a time when out of the county, and were so touched to find out that at times when the numbers allowed, overnight staff would allow our more anxious pups to snuggle with them at night rather than be kenneled. A huge bonus is the outdoor play area, and all the awesome pics and videos they post so you can stay updated on what your pup is doing during the day!

My babies had the best time at Active!! I have a couple of odd balls for dogs but they loved Active and everyone who works there SO MUCH that they were able to relax and just have fun! Both dogs were so happy and tired when they’d come home. Alex does an incredible job keeping your pups safe, the staff there is truly amazing. Sweet Pea and Frog miss you guys!!

Active Dog Daycare & Boarding has been amazing for our pups, Luna and Beau! From day one, the team has treated them with so much patience, kindness, and genuine love. We’ve watched them become more confident and social thanks to the safe, positive environment here. One of the things we love most is that someone is on-site at all times — even overnight. The staff provides cozy beds so pups can snuggle with them through the night, and they also offer crates for dogs who feel more secure with a smaller den space for sleep. The best daycare in the city! Alex, Michelle, and the team are professional and caring, communicate promptly and earnestly love every dog under their care. My dog has been going for nearly five years and Active has been compassionate and thoughtful through her medical issues, my family emergencies, and a lot of general chaos. I've had my own horror stories finding care for my difficult dog and Active not only has earned my trust over and over, they genuinely care about my little weirdo as if she were their own.

Honestly, I was really nervous about sending my male golden (neutered) to doggy daycare as well as using them for transportation. I did a ton of research and ended up on active’s page. It’s been three years of utter bliss. The staff is beyond amazing, every single one of them…seriously, I cannot thank you all enough. My pup, Butters, doesn’t even touch the floor leaping from the couch to the front door (it’s pretty far!) that is how excited he is…and he waits for them. He knows the time and days he goes and gets all excited. He comes home TIRED which trust me, he needs. Not sure if he’s chasing dog friends or following the people, either way he’s happy as can be and sleeps for nearly a day. The days the kiddie pools are out are his favorite, I am sure.
