About Pets

The guy that works at the counter is so grumpy. I don't understand why you would have a job in customer service when you presumably don't like people. It wouldn't kill you to be kind and smile. My friend also told me about how she was scolded about her dog's diet. That's extremely unfair, just because someone doesn't have the money to feed their dog top tier food doesn't mean they have a loving home. I'd much rather a dog be in a loving home than alone in a shelter.

TLDR; what should have taken 5 minutes turned into a 30 minute diatribe on pet nutrition. Went in to buy a ball. Owner was quick to help and I found what I needed within 5 minutes. Owner (I think - based on other reviews) proceeded to interrogate me about what I feed my dog (which is a rescue that I have known for 3 days) and talked at me for at least a half hour if not longer. Didn’t pick up on any social cues of discomfort. The worst part was that he received a phone call from what I assume was a family member or significant other and spoke so horribly to them. Bad vibes. I was excited to shop at a locally owned joint, I won’t be back.

Nolyn was very knowledgeable and extremely helpful in setting up our puppy care. He had a great selection of high-quality foods, tools, toys, and really helpful advice on Training and Health. I will come here for as much of my pet care needs as I can!

Owner really knows his stuff! My dog is allergic to chicken and he has the widest selection of chicken-free foods I have seen anywhere!
