Not the first time we have had to go here over the last 15yrs, both dogs had very serious issues. The first dog all specialist had given up, Dr Peterson worked with us, was constantly in contact, always available. Our dog got 3 more years of quality life he would not have gotten without her. Staff was friendly,respectful, thorough, professional,accommodating, the last few months they went out of their way to make an emotional and tough situation bearable. 11yrs later we were back in their ER with a different dog, unknown condition effecting this dogs recovery from cataract surgery, every day something new going wrong, eventually we had to go to ER, they stabilize her got her good to go home and see her vet in morning, by evening we were back they assured us she was fine and she was, they s

I truly trust that VCA Alderwood has my cats’ best interests in mind, and I enjoy most of the staff, but I’m sorry if anyone has to deal with the receptionist Lola. Anyone else I’ve interacted with thus far has been gracious, patient, and understanding. Any conversations I’ve had with her have been clipped, terse, and impatient. In a stressful situation I was at the verge of tears from her callous attitude while speaking with me. I hope I’ve just caught her on bad days… every time I’ve interacted with her. Her demeanor sets a bad impression for the entire office. But on a brighter note, here are some pictures of my lovely cats.

First and foremost, the staff are so helpful, friendly and accommodating. And they really truly care about all the patients so much. Combine that with the talent of Dr James and her talent to really communicate what’s going on with the health of the patient. I love her so much I am still driving from West Seattle for her care of my dog.

I've been taking my pets here for over 20 years now and they have always been wonderful veterinarians. Their staff is very friendly and knowledgeable as well. It's always easy working with these folks

I have a very nervous, anxious, and itchy Jack Russel pup (almost 2 y/o) and I was so pleased with everyone at VCA Alderwood. I was recommended by a facebook group and could not be more happy with the service and advice they advised. Dr Janczak and technician Laura were amazing with my boy, so patient, attentive, and friendly. So happy to finally get some good advise and can’t wait to see the results of the suggestions they both made. The ladies at the front desk were so nice and helpful, put us in a room right away as well as respectfully introducing themselves to him upon paying. We hope to continue to have nothing but a phenomenal experience!!! Pic for attention lol, isn’t he cute?!
