A Paw Above Dog Grooming LLC

We brought our 11 lb shih tzu puppy who we adopted with a coat in horrible condition. Allegedly they couldn't wrangle this hellhound because she refused to shave his face, saying he needed to be sedated, and left it for us to do (which we did sans anesthesia). She also missed lots of spots. See pics. No way was this chop job worth $100.

I absolutely love A Paw Above. Not only are they reasonably priced, kind, and flexible when you need/ask; they also really take good care of your pets. They have found two serious health issues with our dogs that might have gone unnoticed for much longer. They are awesome!

They have been grooming, our senior Bichon Frise for several years now, and they do an excellent job! Most importantly, they were fantastic and considerate in handling an older dog. I would highly recommend them for your grooming needs. On top of doing great work they care about all of the dogs while in their care!

Shelby is the best! We have been bringing our cavapoo to her since we first got him and she helped gently introduce him to grooming as a puppy. We followed her from Ithapaws to A Paw Above. Our dog LOVES her (normally he is very apprehensive around human strangers). I’ve never had a dog that was excited to be dropped off at the groomer. She does a fantastic job with his cut as well!

We love Michaela! We have been seeing her for years now! My dog has a lot of anxiety and she is so good with him, he never seems stressed to go or when I pick him up. She also remembers all the little details that I like or dislike, so I know I can tell her to do the usual and he always looks perfect when she’s done! The location has convenient parking right in front, and it’s always a clean and calm environment.
