I adopted my dog Jasper and cat Cali from A New Leash on Life in Madison. They're are a wonderful non profit animal rescue that pulls dogs and cats from high kill shelters and works tirelessly to find them forever homes. I was so impressed with the care and dedication of all the employees and volunteers that I now volunteer there in my free time. If you're looking to add a furry member to your family come visit us and we will find you the perfect match.

I'll admit we weren't familiar with the process here, so when we fell in love with a photo and applied for a specific kitten, then received a text inviting us to meet said kitten the next day, we thought we were approved. Instead, we arrived three minutes after the facility opened to find another couple in the middle of applying for the same kitten and staff telling us they would just decide the better fit based on our applications. Before we could fully process what was happening (I've adopted several animals in the past from shelters and never run into this situation before), staff members were already guiding us to other cats and kittens to see if we'd want one of them instead. It was a little disconcerting, but the end result was we got to meet a foster mom who invited us to her home

The staff at the madison life saving center location are always amazing and extremely helpful. Always a welcoming environment with their positive attitudes. I love stopping by to chat and see all the new pups and kitties each week. 10/10 would recommend stopping in and getting to know the sweet ladies and gentlemen who work and volunteer there!

I adopted my dog from here and she has been amazing. I now have 4 lol. They have a pet for everyone
