I’ve been trying to find the best groomer to take care of my Yorkie, Bronx. His last visit to the big box store left him covered in sores, hair falling out, expression-less, and jagged call over. It was the worst haircut you could imagine. I literally cried because I did not recognize my boy…they cut everything off and left him looking like a zombie. I was forced to let him grow out so his haircut and facial features could be cut properly. It was a long few months. He was a blind, fluffy mess when he walked into Blue Sky Pet Spa, and Handsome Prince when he was carried out. If you're like me and your pup is part of your family, you want only the best for them. Finding a place where your pup feels happy combined with expert grooming skills and outstanding customer service makes it hard to settle for anything less. Aside from him hating a car ride, all I have to do is say "do you want to go see Janet?"and his ears perk up. Barks and Bubbles in Decatur said they knew how to do a standard groom for a Bichon, I even expected to pay more because it takes skill and experience. But I was horrified and in tears when I picked him up. All they did was basically shave him and give him somewhat of an uneven puppy cut. Blue Sky Pet Spa is the best. We’ve tried so many groomers before finding Blue Sky and they were all a disappointment or hard to schedule. They are so organized and well run. You are by far the best (honestly, no comparison). Always responsive and kind. They treat my dog with kindness and love. Everyone is amazing and I particularly love the owner who’s always quick to respond and very caring. I’m so glad I found this gem in Madison.
