Adopted Dusty 1 month ago and he has fit into the family quite well. He is such a sweetheart. 7 years old Jack Russel . We had raised two Jacks several years ago and missed thier personality and love that they have for you. Dusty has not disappointed us one bit. This was the best decision we have made.

Update: My girls were returned to me thru a miracle and some loving, caring people. This place had nothing to do with it and I just want to reiterate that this rescue is horrible. -------------- Don't waste your time with this judgmental place. They would not let me adopt an animal even though I've been approved at other places. I am not finding a dog with the other rescues I'm working with and found one at Forever Home... LORI - the judgmental owner didn't even take time to call me to let me know I was not approved. She has preconceived notions about me and if you read through other reviews on not only here but other social media you will see what people say about her unprofessionalism. I visited A Forever Home Animal Rescue hoping to adopt two Yorkie puppies, and what started as an exciting day turned into a very disappointing experience. The volunteer who first greeted us was kind and welcoming. My husband (retired military), our 6-year-old, and 3-year-old were all present, and we made sure the kids stayed seated and calm while the puppies approached them. However, another staff member soon joined us and expressed concerns about our young children and whether the dogs would get enough supervision. She even suggested the puppies might get out of our house and implied that our family wasn’t prepared to give them proper attention. We rescued our little pom, Max, in 2018 and he's been such a great addition to our family. From the moment we locked eyes, we knew we were going to bring him to his forever home. We've taken him on road trips to Philadelphia, New Orleans, California and have given him the best life a dog can have. Could not have been done without Lori and the volunteers. Thank you all.
