2nd Street Animal Hospital & Exotic Clinic

I came in with my Indian Ringneck for an emergency visit after a horrible accident with many injuries and negative symptoms. My bird and I were both having the absolute worst few days of our lives but Dr. Meade sat with us for over an hour. She listened to every single detailed concern I had, examined my bird thoroughly, answered all of my many questions, and gave so much advice on how to best care for my bird going forward. Dr. Meade kept in close contact with me over the next month and a half while I gave updates and asked new questions, until we came in for a follow up appointment to recheck everything. Dr. Meade, Addi and Shyheem were all incredible with my rabbits. I have just moved states and was very nervous to try a new exotics vet, but I seem to have found a winner on the first try! Dr. Meade took care to make each of my rabbits feel comfortable and safe. She took the time to explain what she was doing, things to look for and be aware of for the future. I learned a lot and feel relief finding a new vet I can trust. She was patient answering questions and Addi even sent a follow up email on a tool I was recommended to buy. Coming from a household with an exotic pet, I’ve had multiple 5-star experiences at 2nd Street Animal Hospital over the last year and a half. The following review is about my latest visit there (third overall). My pet rabbit had an unexpected scare a few nights ago. It was a false alarm (thankfully), but I still had some lingering questions about his overall health. So, I went on 2nd Street Animal Hospital’s website, filled out a quick form, and scheduled an appointment for the next day. It was very easy to set up. Huge shoutout to Dr. Meade, Francis, & Jeffrey for all the insight they shared during that appointment. Love this place! Took my 14 year old Labrador who suffers from arthritis and they fixed her right up and helped my girl to feel so much better. We are so grateful for the 2nd Street Animal hospital team for their love, support and hugs for our four legged family member 🩵

We love love love Dr Meade. We saw her years ago in NJ and are so happy she is here now. We have been to so many different vets after 15 years of having piggies. She is the best one, she is very smart and cares about the animals so much. She knows all the latest treatments and medicines and tries to keep your price affordable. We were so sad when she left the other folic we were going to, but now that she is here we are jumping for joy. She spends a lot of time explaining and doesn’t move if you ask a million questions. We love her!
