Yuppy Puppy Pet Shop

I bought my rottie puppy from here and he is very healthy and loving. they gave us all the vet papers and he was up to date with his shots and the first visit to the vet was free . The owner was great and informative about the puppies parents and there were even pictures of what his mom and dad looked like. We have the AKC papers and everything. I would recommend this store to all my friends looking for a place to purchase a healthy dog from people who care. I understand the whole adopt dont buy I adopted my two male cats and saved my female cat but I see nothing wrong from buying from a safe and legit store like Yuppy Puppy. Everyone has a their own mind and can make their own decisions and should not feel bad for deciding to purchase a puppy from a great store like Yuppy Puppy.

Puppies are all from the midwest, meaning they are from puppy mills. I would encourage anyone thinking of buying a puppy here to research the risks of buying a puppy mill puppy as well as the facts of the industry their money is supporting. For other supplies and services, I can say Yuppy Puppy has good prices and selection. Staff is helpful, store is clean. It is just too bad they have to resort to trucking in puppies from puppy mills.

Regardless of what the owners say or tell you, THEY SELL PUPPY MILL PUPPIES!!! A client of mine purchased a puppy from them that turned out to have a VERY severe case of pneumonia. The owner's daughter told my client that all of their puppies come from Amish country Pennsylvania which is notoriously puppy mill territory. Please don't support this business which profits off the suffering of animals. They should be shut down.

Not a place I would recommend. It seems like a puppy mill even though they say they are not. They had rescue dogs in there. But the owner slipped and said we may need to send them back to the breeder....hmmmm. Rescue dogs or just a good front. Prices are way out of line. you can get better things right at Walmart in the same plaza. But you make your own decision. I will never go back and tell everyone I know what I experienced at that place.

Went in with my sister who wanted to get a nicer tank for her betta fish. Unfortunately when asking the young woman working there about what would be best for a betta, every answer seemed to lead back to 'whatever you think looks nicest'. The actual wellbeing of the fish didn't seem to enter into the equation. I understand there are misconceptions about poor bettas and that not everyone has immediate knowledge about caring for every species but she and I were both immediately put off.
