Sharing from my post of the North Haven store, but with the same sentiment: Very disappointed in the two Connecticut locations Where they removed Halfway Home Rescue from their adoption center because their adoption numbers have not been as high as PetSmart requires, even though PetSmart never indicated there was a quota. At a time where the United States is going through so many Uncertainties with rising costs and people are dumping animals faster than they are adopting, Plus, the fact that there has been a nationwide veterinary shortage because many are not entering the field for various reasons, it’s a kick in the throat to all rescues where they have to live up to certain numbers to make the host look good. I frequent this store and always have a great experience. I had to take a moment to express my appreciation. I was there on Saturday. Aly and Jamie helped me. Aly helped me with the fish. Extremely knowledgeable. Aly really helped me add to our community tank. This is a great neighborhood store where the customer service is excellent. These are pictures of the two little guys we added to our tank. They are doing great!

It's what you'd expect in any petsmart. I did find some kitty snacks I hadn't seen in other store locations, so I stocked up. Clean, not smelly, good signs. They have dog groomer, shots, and cat adoption. Large parking lot, baskets and carts. Glad I stopped in.

This is my first negative review so a little difficult, I just try not to say anything. In this case a poor review is highly warranted since I gave this store numerous spaced out visits just to be disappointed every-time. It is a shame because it is so close to my house. The fish selection is poor. Very inconsistent with the fish food that can go bad. Worms as well as some frozen cubes. The thing I can’t get over is the high turn over as well as ALL EMPLOYEES I encountered there over 10 years of trying. There has been times I could not find an employee. I seriously did 4 laps around the store with a friend and walked out when I couldn’t get rung up. Some young employee argued with me over a type of fishing she was selling me. She had no clue.
