Yadkin County Animal Shelter

Squirrel was this cats name. I will be posting documentation later on a cat they adopted out to me that was so sick. This cat was said to have been vetted and cleared for adoption. The cat has tumors multiple failing liver and a failing pancreas. Only had cat 5 days and was told by Christy your problem you signed contract so your cat. The vet bill to determine why cat was so sick is 798.00 and that does not cover the cost of putting it to sleep that was x-rays sonogram and blood work. When ask if they would cover any of amount they said no. You can return the cat. HORRIBLE PLACE. The cat was dieing inside their facility he would not have lived much longer and was in tremendous pain. Cat never ate or drank water with me for the whole 5 days I have had him. They also said cat was 5 yrs old

Today 06-19-23 I gave up one kitten a beautiful little boy, I have 4 big cats just gotta stop somewhere, he was place with others and was doing great so hats off to Ethan that was so helpful to me, very clean place, I feel I did the right thing. Thank you Ethan. 5 stars....

Such a wonderful and well kept shelter! Staff are super friendly and do a great job with all the animals that come through their shelter. Highly recommend to anyone looking to save a pet in need!
