I visited this pet store on 12/30/25 with my daughter and friend. My daughter was looking at the sizes of the dog sweaters. A woman came from behind the counter and started asking my daughter what size her dog was and my daughter did not reply. My daughter did not realize the woman was speaking to her, as she is disabled. When my daughter did not answer the woman started shouting at her HELLO, HELLO over and over as she moved closer to her. I directed my daughter out of the store with my friend as I repeated goodbye. My daughter was so upset and scared. We went to the next shop and I went back alone to explain that sometimes you don’t know people’s circumstances but all she did was scream at me goodbye goodbye. I visited the historic Smithville in the winter for some Christmas shopping and stumbled upon this pet store. It had so many items from mugs, treats, toys, bows, harnesses, etc, and it wasn’t overpriced. I got some new cat treats and my cats loved them. The staff was friendly as well. I will definitely be back if i am in the area again. I recommend stopping by to get something for your pets!

Visited this store yesterday and my husband and I were inquiring about the pet coats and they didn't have many sizes. My husband turned to me and said I will look online because the coat probably won't fit him. With that the nasty brunette that has been included in previous posts scolded my husband and said " We don't say the word Online in this store ...it's small business Saturday.". Yes we were trying to support this business, but after that nasty comment we will never return. After all we are still paying customers and would have bought something else.

Never have I ever been kicked out of a store before! I stopped in here with my dog to look around. We were browsing the dog coat section and trying on different ones. They only had a few left in the size that fit my dog and I really liked the brand of dog coats they carried so I looked up the brand on my phone while I was in there. I found some online that I really liked and I was going to ask the workers if they could maybe order me one to buy it at the store. One of the workers, middle to older aged, brunette, came up to me and said “you don’t have to look up the prices you can just get out of my store.” and proceeded to kick me out. I was shocked by such harsh behavior. I felt like I was treated as if I was shoplifting. It was never about the prices for me, they just had limited stock a

Owner was super rude to entire store of customers!!!! If the store is too crowded for her she freaks. Well set it up differently or choose a larger location. Plus there's already another dog store in the same shopping area who are actually nice to customers. I won't be back. It's just a waste of time. Maybe if they carried something unique but they don't. Most of all that attitude!!!!!
