I've been taking Dolly, my beagle here since she was a puppy. Since day one, we were treated like family! The receptionists, assistants and veterinarians are all amazing people who clearly love what they do. They take time to answer any questions you have and truly listen to you as a pet parent. That means the world to me.

We started bringing our puppy to Winthrop Veterinary Hospital in June 2025, and after three visits (including one tech appointment), we can confidently say we are very impressed. Everyone, from the front desk staff to the veterinarians (Dr. Z and Dr. Bonney) has been professional, kind, and genuinely pleasant to work with. Over the years, we’ve been to at least four other veterinary offices with previous pets, and this practice is easily #1 in our book. I especially want to recognize Devyn for being so kind and excellent at her job. Our appointment had wrapped up when I mentioned that a nail trim would have been helpful, but I had forgotten to ask. My dog needed emergency surgery that I couldn't afford at the emergency clinic. They immediately got roxy in and took very good care of her. I will be eternally grateful to them for saving my mama bear 🥰

Have been a patient of this clinic for over 15 years. My the dog, that has been going there since he was a puppy, need to be seen for an ear infection. Keep in mind, he's never had any vaccinations his entire life. They refused to see him unless he's vaccinated for rabies. I understand it's law but refusing to see him because of this, for the first time in 14 years seems asinine and I felt they didn't care unless they squeezed more money out of me. Have given multiple of my animals the wrong medication which almost resulted in death.

I've been bringing my animals here for over 17 years. They've always been very attentive when listening to the concerns about my pets. From the time that I was 18 when I had my first cat they helped me out and they were there for me when I had to put her let her go. they were kind and courteous and honest. They have helped me walk pets over the rainbow bridge and they have saved a few of my pets. They helped me navigate the difficult and emotional road when my puppy got cancer. When I voiced my concerns that something was definitely wrong they took me seriously and worked fast I believe they're fast work was one of the reasons we were able to save him. I know it takes some time to get established here now but it's worth it. I can't thank everyone at Winthrop Veterinary enough.
