Pals No-Kill Cat Shelter

If I could do negative stars believe me I would. I made an appointment for my 1 yr old cat due to blood in her stool. They informed me where it’s not all the time to place it into the fridge/ freezer until the morning. I did just that ONLY for them to call me and state they cannot due treatment due to it being too cold. They never offered any other solutions to make sure my cat was okay! And continued to charge me for the appointment. I then had my two kittens on their schedule to get fixed ( I have had this scheduled for over a month) just for them to call me and cancel it 2 days before the appointment to tell me they are canceling both appointments with no known date in the near future because they “ do not have enough medication to treat them” so take this as you will! All I will say is

Had a kitten who needed medical treatment; I was lied to on the phone that they would take me; then as soon as I got there, 2 hrs away from my home; they told me that they didn't have the team or the mother cat to help me with her; as soon as I said I would take her home the main vet got hostile towards me and attempted to get me to surrender the whole litter. She a as extremely rude and turned mean when I took back my kotten and even said that she was going to die because I was being irresponsible. PALS, my baby girl is thriving at 3 months old and is is absolutely beautiful; no thanks to you.

Wonderful organization. Drove a long distance to adopt because they were so welcoming and made the process such a positive experience (unlike some other shelters). Wish I lived closer so I could go there for vet care. Adopted a beautiful 5-month-old kitten who is so sweet and brings such joy to my home every day. My older kitty has accepted him and I’m so happy that I did my research and found PALS, called them, and found them to be so kind and accommodating to work with.

I love how kind and welcoming the staff are and the adoption process is nice and easy the way it should be. No 3 page questionnaire like others were asking for..... Definitely recommend for cat adoptions and feline veterinary services!!

I’m updating this post. Nobody feels this way but me, my mum doesn’t either. My main concern is making sure my kitties get the best quality care they can. I have no doubt the doctors here will do that. I just worry about Anesthesia being given to my older kitties, it’s scary when I get warned he won’t completely come out of the anesthesia to give him an exam, I understand he needed to for the procedure. The receptionist is super nice but separate times I’ve had other nurses explain stuff to me, it seems they were having a bad day or didn’t wanna completely explain. I just wanna know 100% what’s being done to my kitty before they go in, I feel like they shouldn’t have to be put under during exams is my main thing. I will always worry about my kitties no matter what appointment they have, it
