We love Winterset Vet! My girl Eloise really loves all the staff, she actually gets very excited to go in and see everyone. She had her spay on Friday of last week, 2/13. I am so impressed with the care she received. Her incision is healing amazing. They are by far one of the most reasonably priced vets that I have ever been to. We would recommend Winterset Vet to anyone!

I was with Dr. Lonna near the end of Charlie’s life, many years ago, outstanding. Then later Lady came along, Dr Lonna and then sometimes Dr. Jim, we’re just great with her. Now it’s Sunny and Cowgirl. We just saw Dr. Jim the other day. The service at the front counter is top notch, professional, the special care and doctoring that we get at this clinic is the best I could ever ask for. Sonny is a happy and full of life, yellow lab. He’s had a couple incidents, and I’ve had to call after hours; Doctor Lonna pulled us through, and I can’t be more grateful. Support your local vet.

We took our cat for grooming. They had 2 weeks to get our information and get our cats vaccination history. The receptionist was quite condescending. We found out last minute the we had to pay for 2 shots. Surprise! She wasn’t nice about it. No one told us how long everything would take. Every time we asked they seemed annoyed and we got different responses. He was to have a lions mane cut. Groomer asked if we wanted just the tip of the tail. We said yes. She left the entire tail. They also kept referring to our cat as she when he is a he. Then put on this cheap cheesy girly handkerchief on him. This clinic did a great job with our dogs way back when and have since gone downhill. I am so disappointed and will not be back.

This vet clinic and all the staff is amazing. We are new to farming and have had two experiences we couldn’t handle on our own, we got the assistance we needed immediately at a beyond reasonable price. I honestly didn’t believe these type of “small town” feel places still existed.

We have been taking our fur family to Dr Jim and Dr Lonna for years. They are always so accommodating. The office staff are also wonderful. You will not find a more caring group anywhere!!!
