Cedar Creek Animal Clinic

I had an appointment to have a routine blood sample taken so I could renew my dog’s Heartgard and NexGard prescriptions. I have used this same veterinary clinic for the past two years—my dog’s entire life—so I expected a normal, professional visit. Instead, the experience was shocking and upsetting. The veterinarian came into the room and immediately handed me a muzzle without attempting to calm or warm up to my dog in any way. In previous visits, he typically used treats and took time to build rapport. None of that happened this time. The vet and his assistant then sat and watched while I struggled for over 15 minutes to try to muzzle my dog one-handed. At one point, the vet asked the assistant to get a small leash and proceeded to explain how I was supposed to muzzle my dog with it. Sh

We had and awful experience at this pet clinic. Our family cat was on the verge of passing away. The doctor John was very rude and did not give us all the information about our cat. John tried to get us to do bloodwork so we would have to pay for more services when he already knew what was happening. John was also dismissing everything my grandpa said. Very rude doctor. At the end when our cat passed we were shoved out the door. These people are not compassionate at all. Highly recommend taking your pets to another vet!

We got our " TASHA " at cedar creek. She's a perfect cat . Cedar Creek keeps our cat healthy.

After not so pleasant experiences with other vets in town unfamiliar with the Chinese shar pei Breed, I was referred to Cedar creek. Absolutely love them and the way they care for both of my girls. One of them being a rescued breeder dog who is timid. They have always been patient and professional. Prices are a bit higher but absolutely worth it to have the knowledge my girls are in the best hands. Thank you!!

My wife and I recently moved to Wintereset and finding the right vet was important to us. I had visited the local vet locations in town and Cedar Creek Animal Clinic was hands down the best choice for us. We are extremely pleased with the care and services that ourselves and our dogs have received here. Staff are very friendly and knowledgeable. If your looking for a vet please don't hesitate as these guys are awesome.
