Winter Park 436 Pet Doc Hospital

Dr. Lawrence Wallace is the most warm hearted Veterinarian I have the pleasure of knowing for 4-5 years now. He was on Lee Road and now on 436 and I will follow him anywhere in Florida for my cats and dog. He is the ANIMAL WHISPER!!! He saved my rescued Sarah repeatedly: severe ear infection, Pulmonary Edema from electrocution by biting my Christmas lights and her perfect spay surgery and rapid recovery. My American Bulldog won't let anyone touch him except Dr. Wallace. I thank GOD for him. He is genuine and a true blessing to my pets and the community. I saw other people's critique. Dr. Wallace is a Black American DVM who LOVES ANIMALS and is so evident in him and the animals sense it. He wants animals to be healthy and also uses homeopathic treatment

I brought my cat in due to concerns about fleas and persistent bad breath. While the veterinarian addressed the flea issue, I also requested that my cat’s mouth be examined. Although my cat was skittish, the staff were able to briefly look inside her mouth and informed me that there were no issues. I have since learned—several months later—that a thorough oral examination was not performed and that my cat is now suffering from a severe gum infection. This condition could have been identified and treated during my September visit had a more comprehensive assessment been done. I am disappointed that my concerns were dismissed so the appointment could move forward, as this delay resulted in unnecessary progression of a serious dental issue. I expected a more thorough evaluation and clearer

I’m extremely disappointed with the unprofessionalism here, by the doctor. The doctor was over an hour late, which not only caused me to be late for work but also created unnecessary stress for the staff. I felt bad for them, as they were being yelled at by other patients while trying to manage the delay. This isn’t the first time there’s been a significant wait, but over an hour is completely unacceptable. There’s no point in scheduling an early appointment if the doctor consistently arrives so late. Patients’ time matters too. After years of being understanding, the price is decent but I rather pay more elsewhere than waste my time. Also, fyi I only come here for shots, serious issues I would never come here, this isn’t the best place for serious conditions. Anyways, Last time coming her

Appointment at 3:30, for checkup to get a flea pill. Got there at 3:15, was still waiting at 4:30. Reception was full and people that were there before me were still waiting. Walked out of the room at 4:45 and told them I couldn’t wait any longer. All they said was that they were behind, didn’t even apologize. Over an hour and a half wasted.

Warning.... THERE IS ONLY 1 DOCTOR HERE SO IF YOU.MAKE AN APPOINTMENT YOU'LL BE TUERE FOR A MINIMUM OF AT LEAST 3 HOURS. EVEN FOR SOMETHING AS SIMPLE AS VACCINATIONS. MY PUPPY NEED 1 MORE VISIT AND AFTER THAT I'LL BE GOING TO SEMORAN & 408 VET. I've been there before & never waited this long on anybvisit. THIS IS RIDICULOUS!
