I can’t thank Dr Fernanda and Fairbanks Team enough for the care and compassion they gave to my sweet Fiona. She was an 11 year old English Bulldog with a complex heart condition, and every visit felt like she was in the best possible hands. The team always treated her with kindness, patience, and genuine love, never rushing, always listening, and making sure she was comfortable. Even during the hardest moments, they showed so much empathy and respect. It wasn’t just medical care; it was emotional support, too. I’ll always be grateful for how they helped Fiona feel better and for the tenderness they showed throughout her journey. Thank you for being the kind of veterinary team that truly cares — not just for pets, but for the families who love them.

We have been clients of theirs for over 20 years. We love them. They supported our family through so many pets, healthy, elderly, ill (chronic, pain, and just sick). Everyone is so lovely and kind. They are so respectful of our pet’s needs and whole life. The doctors, techs, and office staff have all been caring, knowledgeable, patient, and skilled. And it goes both ways. It is clear their clients love them, too. It is clear from cards and pictures of pets on the wall.

Vet tech was weirdly afraid of our dog and couldn’t clip her nails lol. Felt bad for the poor guy but still annoying that we drove there and they couldn’t handle the most basic of services for a vet. Nice enough folks just a little inexperienced maybe. Don’t like leaving negative reviews but feel the truth is important.

They are wonderful. They care. They're genuine. And, they have played a major role in our pups' ability to continue to see the sun rise. We can't thank them enough.

I’ve been taking my three pups to Fairbanks Animal Hospital since three years and I can say that Dr. Kiene and his staff are amazing! Dr. Kiene himself is attentive, listening and calm. He is very friendly and knowledgeable. The front desk ladies and the rest of the team are super friendly too! The prices are fair in my opinion. You can call and email them with any questions and they respond pretty fast. Thank you Dr. Kiene and Team for all you do!
