I love how involved WAAL is with the community and the amazing work they do to save pets and find them good homes. The people who work there truly have compassionate hearts for animals and do their best. I was a foster for a short time and I never felt like I was in it alone- the fosters group is always willing to help.

Thank you for helping us out after discovering that our two dogs had been injured and needed medical attention. You were truly an answer to prayer!

Not transparent about their entire adoption process and “rules” in the contract. Unhelpful when we called about our dog we adopted thru them.

Truly a great experience, I adopted Juneau last summer and the process was in-depth and reassuring. Katie, the adoption specialist who helped me, was so friendly, and cared so deeply about the animals. She helped me find Juneau based on my lifestyle and personality, and was great at communicating with me on details and answered any questions I had. I strongly support WAAL and their mission. Its clear to me that the people genuinely care about their work and believe in it too. Im truly grateful for WAAL and their work. Juneau has improved my life profoundly and I wouldnt have been able to adopt her without WAAL. Adopting from WAAL was one of the best decisions I've made, and adding Juneau to my family has been a joy in every sense of the word. Thank you WAAL!
