I'm so happy I found Dr. Lisa! I moved to the area about 2 years ago and was looking for a new vet in the area for my senior dog at the time. He had some issues with allergies, food sensitives, and just being an senior. When he started going down hill she wasn't in a "rush" to tell me to put him down as other vets had in the past. She told us if he has the will to live, then we will keep trying. He had crippling arthritis right at the end as well as a slew of stomach issues. When the decision was made that it was his time, she sat with us the whole time while I asked every questions under the sun. She was with us the entire experience. She cried for us and for him. I used to absolutely love this vet. Everybody was so sweet and it's very clean and always smells really good but disappointed is not even the word I would use for my last experience with them. I took my 15-year-old multi-Poo There two weeks ago because she had a hurt leg , They came in with the write up after she was assessed by the doctor, which I put my dog on the ground to show her how she was walking because she was hurt and she said she has arthritis Which she could tell So when she read the write up to me for what they were gonna do, they included the rabies vaccine to which I said I did not want to do it because of her age and I didn't know how she was doing Internally, the vet tech argued with me and said they had to because she was due for it (which she had one year and a half

It cost me $483 to have my 25 year old cat put down last week. $483! To say this place opened my eyes about being ripped off by a doctor and business would be an understatement. One shot to relax her I was told, one shot to put her down. Then around $250 to cremate her 7 lb body. What? That's right, a small cat, 7 lbs, for the unbelievable price gouging cost of $250. There are no words but 'wow'. And then incredibly, when I asked about paw prints, they had the audacity to say it would cost $58 more dollars to take her paw prints and give them to me if I wanted them too. Something you can do in two minutes before or after the shot..and because you know how traumatic it is to put down a family pet you cannot even consider this one sweet last gesture without charging? Took my kitty in for the first time here and I was very pleased! The office was clean and smelt great unlike some places I’ve tried in the past. The receptionist was great and got us right in, same day, for my baby’s yearly shots and exam. The vet and vet tech were great as well! They took great care of my kitty cat and you can tell they genuinely care for the animals they treat. I’m happy to have found an awesome vet I can count on! I’ll be back here for all my kitty vet trips. :) -update 2 years later with a pic :)

My Akita has been coming here for years. Staff and Dr. are absolutely amazing. Everyone is so kind and caring. The building itself is very clean and always smells + looks great. My pup is not a people person but loves Dr. Matagrano.
