West Wind Kennels

I had a short notice issue, called West Wind, and they handled it with grace and kindness. I took my dog here 20 years ago and had forgotten how nice they were. Today, I had a Great Pyrenees that pooped all over herself... she had a stained bottom and was just a matted mess. They asked if they could shave some fur around her butt and I said yes. I don't think I've seen Navarra so happy since I've known her. She came home looking and smelling like the shiny queen she is, and her bumbum looks great! She got a little jelly of my son and daughter in law's new baby, so she gets to hang out with grandma for the rest of her days. Thank you, WW, for taking such great care of her!!! ♥️

We would never consider going to any other kennel. This family owned business truly cares about the pets that they board. They are kind and gentle and patient with all the animals. You are treated like family when you go to Westwind.

If there was an option for zero stars I’d put that! I left my 3 dogs in this kennel over Memorial Day weekend 22. Apparently they are under new management. I would NEVER bring any animal here. They ask you to bring food in a tub for your animal. I bagged am and pm feedings individually for each of my babies and had them clearly marked and separated for ease of feeding. Two of my dogs have extreme anxiety and one of them has medication for it. The 100lb puppy was not fed over the weekend, has a scrapes on his nose from pushing on the lid, probably wanting food and is limping. Only one of the dogs feedings were gone. I have boarded my two boys there several times in the last year, they always seem to be excited to go back. Thanks for taking care of Ronin and Bodi!

I’ve only brought my dogs there to get their nails Clipped and loved the service but just last Thursday I went there in person and asked about boarding my dogs for a couple of days and I guess it was a new employee that took my information to have them. Call me on a Sunday lol I never got a phone call and even tried calling back leaving a voicemail. I guess they can’t help me?
