West Caldwell Animal Hospital

My family has been going to the West Caldwell Animal Hospital with our pets (cats and dogs) for at least 30 years, if not longer. Dr. Mock has been compassionate, patient, thorough and wonderful with all our animals. We trust that Dr. Mock has the best interest of our animals in mind. The front office staff is friendly, helpful, and competent which makes such a difference! I would absolutely recommend Dr. Mock and the team at West Caldwell Animal Hospital.

Dr.Moch and her team are all wonderful animal health care professionals! They have cared for my various critters for over two decades with sensitivity and compassion and I cannot recommend them enough.

Dr. Mock and Gale are a terrific team, and our experiences with my mom’s new puppy have been excellent. The puppy had an uneventful neutering and microchip placement. I wish I could give this place 0 stars. My poor dog was suffering gaining a massive amount of weight in a short time, drinking a ton, and eating a ton. When I brought her in the vet didn’t even listen to her lungs or examine her physically whatsoever. She instead just decided to blame it on us giving our dog milk once a week. They made me think my dog had no indications for Cushings even though I said I thought she had it multiple times. My dog just kept gaining weight and I finally brought her somewhere else that actually listened to my concerns and tested my dog for Cushings and sure enough my dog has it. She is feeling so much better and I am absolutely disgusted with how this animal hospital handled my dog’s situation. Not to mention the amount of money wasted on nonsense.

Dr. Mock has been our family vet for decades. She has been right on the money with her diagnosis’s and treatment plans. She and her staff have always been so loving. During Covid, I had to put my min-pin to sleep. They let me lay with Sophie for as long as I needed. They helped make what could have been a traumatic day…one of healing. Thanks to everyone at West Caldwell Animal Hospital from Dotty, Sophie, Maggie, Morgan and all of our other pets through the years.
