I took my anxious, very nervous dog in for her annual vaccines and blood work for heartworm prevention, and I couldn’t be more satisfied with the service we received. She can become aggressive when she’s stressed, so vet visits aren’t easy for us. The staff at Weslaco Animal Clinic went above and beyond to provide care. That level of patience and understanding meant a lot. I’ve been bringing my dog here since she was a puppy, and I’ve always had excellent experiences. Dr. Ruiz and the entire veterinary team are professional, compassionate, convenient, and reasonably priced. Highly recommend.

I love the doctor and I love how fast and reasonable the prices are. I hate that we cannot go in with our animals because I would like to see what’s happening and talk to the doctor face to face. I also hate the receptionist super rude and hardly relays information and the phone lines are always busy!!! It’s super frustrating.

Best customer service!! They take my dog inside themselves without me having to get off my vehicle! All I did was park and call them. I didn't have to wait 2 hours like the other place. I found the perfect place for my dogs!! Yay!!

I had a very frustrating experience at this business. While the doctors are fine and the prices are reasonable, the communication and customer service leave a lot to be desired. They have a specific protocol for how things are done, but none of it is posted online or clearly explained when you call. For example, when you ask for an estimated arrival time, they simply tell you to call when you get there. However, when I arrived and tried calling multiple times, the line was consistently busy, and no one answered. After three attempts, I was told I should have called—but I did call, and there was no way to get through. A simple messaging service or better phone system could easily resolve this issue, but instead, I was met with dismissive and unhelpful responses. One of their veteran techn

I take my dogs here and they never seem scared or anything once the vet takes them to get their shots, i feel like the prices for shots are reasonable and the staff is friendly. I don't really like the way they are doing things now with covid just because you have to keep calling the number and it's usually busy, they do take a while to get to you and they don't do appointments so that's annoying, everytime I go I'm lucky if it takes an hour but my dogs need the shots so it needs to be done. Other than that's it's an ok place.
