WellHaven Pet Health Hazel Dell

I was really impressed with the vet and her assistant. My dog is skiddish and the two took there time to make my dog feel safe . He was due for shots and she made him feel safe . She got it done and my dog did real good . Thank you for having awesome people to take care of the animals.

I am very pleased with how willing the staff is to work with me and one of my dogs that does not do well at the vet. They’re very understanding and respectful and they don’t try to pressure me or my dogs. I also felt their prices were very reasonable. They’ve almost always been able to help us when we are in need of help. They’re nothing but reliable and i feel that’s hard to find now a days.

We liked our vet at Hayden Meadows pet clinic, but we’re tired of driving across the bridge. So we now take both of our dogs and both of our cats to Wellhaven Vet on Highway 99 in Hazel Dell for regular checkups. So far I like all the vets there and the staff. They heard a heart murmur last check up on our 13-year-old border collie, got a heart echo scheduled, and with that result started him on heart meds, now he acts like he’s two years old and has tons of energy. They are an all around great place to take your pets. I really like them because they acknowledge that you can get a really good price with Pet prescriptions through Chewy.com instead of trying to sell them to you for a higher price at their clinic. That’s caring about the customer.

I’m leaving this review because I’m genuinely concerned. We’ve brought multiple pets to the WellHaven Hazel Dell location over time, including our dogs and Cat. Recently, my husband called to schedule an appoitment for one of our Dogs as it seemed like he was having tummy issues and he was told there were no records for either of our Dogs. Only our cat could be found. This was surprising and concerning, especially since both Dogs have received care through WellHaven Hazel Dell. We tend to get their shots at Goodneighbor and I have emailed WellHaven Hazel Dell their shot records as well. Because WellHaven Hazel Dell couldn’t locate our Dogs records, my husband ultimately had to take our Dog to the WellHaven Mill Plain location instead. We’ve never had any issues at WellHaven Mill Plain. Th

The Hazel Dell office was able to accommodate me last minute when the 164 location closed for the day with no warning (and no phone call.) Dr. Capper was AMAZING with my scared and reactive dog. The whole staff was kind and really had the perfect read on what my dog needed. The best appointment we have had in her entire 4 years.
