I should have walked away, but I fell in love with a sweet girl from there and took her home. Was told they would do all the worm testing while being spayed, come to find out she’s got hookworms thanks to my local vet, BECAUSE THEY DID NOT TEST HER PRIOR TO ADOPTION. Other than that, they just handed me her lead and sent me on my way, was told we were getting a doggy goodie bag too for her, obviously didn’t get that either. I was FULLY prepared for her arrival at home though. She’s the sweetest girl. Just save yourself aggravation and adopt elsewhere, had I done my research and read previous reviews I would have too.

I paid for a cat on the 10th and was told I would be informed when it got back from being spayed. I call today because it was supposed to be ready just to be told that they already adopted it out to someone else. I am devastated. I have been waiting for 9 days for this cat and even named it. They did refund me and that is the only good thing that came from this.

I was at the doctor's and he was in the parking lot jumped up in my van . And the people that work there were so helpful.

Very positive experience. The adoption fee was very reasonable and my guy came with all of his shots. The fee really was just enough to cover the neutering. The animals were obviously well cared for. I also appreciated that they didn’t make it so difficult to adopt like many shelters do. Lastly, the day I picked up my boy, his little face lit up and he got so excited when he saw a friendly man who worked there come in. It was clear he had gotten a lot of love and attention. Beyond adoption I plan to to whatever I can afford in the future to support this shelter.

Meet Clyde he made a really good addition to the family. That was really helpful. we got Clyde after losing our other dog. Glad we made the choice.
