Wash & Wags Pet Grooming

I want to start by saying this would be a one star review however I had previously had a great experience here so I’m keeping that in mind. I am extremely disappointed with my recent experience at Wash and Wags. I brought my dog in for a haircut and bath, and unfortunately, he barely received a haircut at all. They simply washed him and trimmed his feet. When I called to express my disappointment, they told me the notes from his previous groomer stated "3/4ths all around" and that they didn't know what that meant. Instead of contacting me to clarify, they opted to skip the haircut entirely and just "cleaned him up." Upon realizing the lack of haircut, I brought my dog back. I showed the groomer a reference photo of the haircut I wanted, but they still butchered his hair in the less than

I adopted a Samoyed who was very neglected. Wash and Wags did an amazing job detangling all of her matting. Her tail was so bad, I was sure they would need to shave it. The groomer was patient and was able to get her tangle free and fluffy again! They truly did an amazing job and didn’t cause her more trauma in her life!!

Went in with a vision and they made it happen! Very happy with my doodles haircuts and I’m exciting to have a more manageable length during the spring. When I picked him up, the groomer discussed the haircut with me and offered to do any changes I might want.

I have been taking my dog to this wash and wags for a number of years. I LOVE the staff there and the gentleness in how they treat the animals in their care. Every time I pick up Joan (my dachshund mix) she is perfectly groomed and happy. She is normally a nervous anxious dog and the staff there knows that and takes the extra time and care with her grooming. It’s like leaving your children with family. Thank you to the entire care team at wash and wags standale!!!

So back in February I took my Yorkie to this location (due to the fact we have been here previously) I showed the groomers pictures on how I would like her to look. Picking her up I noticed she was cut lower than what I expected. I prefer her with hair. No biggie. I paid the $75 and eventually the cut grew on me. So today I called to make a new appointment and was told the owner doesn’t want to service my puppy because I wasn’t satisfied with our previously visit. I was willing to give them another chance because in fact I loved their service. There wasn’t an argument or word exchange so I guess it’s not okay to let people know how you feel when it’s your money being spent.
