I contacted the veterinarian while standing on the side of Highway 40. A dog had wandered across four lanes of highway. I stopped, as did another individual named Kevin. The dog collapsed and failed to get back up. It was clear that he had been starved and subjected to severe abuse. Upon arrival at the vet, they struggled to detect his heartbeat. A shot was administered to stimulate his heart. He was kept overnight for observation. Fortunately, he survived, and we named him Highway. He has numerous issues, including deafness and blindness in one eye. I am currently seeking funding for a trainer to teach him hand signals, which will facilitate his transition into a forever home. When we initially found him, he weighed 28 pounds, but has since gained 25 pounds, now weighing 53 pounds. I am e

If I could give more than 5 stars I would. This vet helped me find out that my beautiful girl Nabi had cancer and they did everything they could to help me and my family. Ultimately her cancer came back and we had to make the decision to put my girl down. It was the hardest thing I have ever done but, the fact there were familiar people there I have spoken to and the fact they were so empathetic helped so much. I was able to let my grief out with no judgment. They even provided me keepsakes which have helped me so much. Coping is hard. It was traumatic, messy and, heartbreaking but, the staff helped me with everything. I could not recommend a better vet.

Just moved from Colorado. Established all 5 of my dogs here ( Over 8 appts in 2 months). Scheduled a csection for a high risk pregnancy over a month ago. After trying to reach them all week to confirm and make sure we were ready, I was finally called back two days before the surgery (thursday before a weekend for monday am surgery)and told that I needed to make other arrangements as they were POSSIBLY canceling Monday with recent storm, theyd let me know for sure Monday...check the facebook page!. I was told to "call around and get on SOMEONES radar". After calling 11 vets , I live in Beulaville, I was told what i already knew...you cant just get on the schedule, a vet needs to have some knowledge of the animal and otherwise it would only be considered if it was an EMERGENCY...bleeding

Yes yes and Yes!!! I will NEVER take my dog anywhere else. Im so glad I listened to the Facebook reviews we drove 45 miles to get here because the care my boy received in Wilmington was just not up to par. From the front counter back to the doctor everyone was absolutely amazing 👏 👏Dr Laura Grady is a God send and Blu was perfectly comfortable with her by the time we left! I knew that when I seen they had a Bible verse printed on my bill I made the right decision💙. Thank you all so much from the bottom of our hearts.
