We sent our one-year-old Great Dane, Gregory, to Lawren for a month-long board and train after realizing he’d discovered just how big he really is, and how easily he could push our boundaries. With a baby on the way, it was so important to us that he learned better leash manners and body awareness. The transformation has been incredible. Gregory now walks calmly right by our side without pulling, listens beautifully (even off leash!), and is so much more aware of his body and how to move gently around us. He’s still his happy, goofy Great Dane self, just so much more grounded. We can’t thank Lawren enough for the time, patience, and skill he put into working with Gregory. It’s truly remarkable to see how excited our boy is to listen and complete a task. We couldn’t recommend him more hig

Had such an amazing experience working with Lawren and later Trin as well! Just finished up my 5 session pack and I couldn’t be happier with the results for my 5 year old dog Remi. We worked on leash pulling, building my dog’s confidence and more. Lawren worked around my own physical limitations when training and gave me plans tailored around mine and my dogs needs. Towards the end we went over what I had listed as things I wanted to work on and I couldn’t believe how far we had gone in just 5 sessions! “Reactivity to other dogs” felt so far away at that point because of how much Lawren helped work on my dog’s confidence. It was amazing! I’m able to enjoy some loose leash walks with my dog so much more now and I look forward to working together again!

I can't say enough good things about working with Lawren! After going against my better judgement and adopting a reactive australian cattle dog puppy, I was overwhelmed with training her and didn't even know where to start. We started at-home sessions for Millie and we saw some improvement, but it quickly became obvious I didn't have the tools to teach her. We did 4 weeks of board-and-train and, while she definitely still has major work to do, I feel like I can just enjoy and love her, whereas before she was a constant source of stress and resentment. Lawren is incredibly personable and trustworthy. He was always easy to get ahold of and never made me feel like a burden for asking a million questions. I'm so grateful for Lawren's patience (with me probably more than Millie!) because he ta

I have an 11 month old lab that needed some specific training to avoid leash pulling and improve impulse control. I was delighted to have found Walking with Walter owned by Lawren Bennett. He listened to my needs and implemented specific training that I now reinforce at home. If you’re looking for an excellent dog trainer, I encourage you to reach out to Lawren. There’s tremendous value to what he does and you won’t be disappointed.

Our 3year old Bernadoodle Hogan was an accomplished escape artist. Any open door or gate open for only seconds and he was gone! We came across Lawren just a few months ago and after a quick evaluation and only 3 training sessions over a few weeks with a little consistent practice we were trained.Hogan won't walk through a door or gate without getting permission. Bonus, his 10 year old brother Gus got a nice refresher as well. Thanks Lawren. Highly recommend and have recomended Walking with Walter dog training. PS It wasn't the dog who needed the training.
