Really disappointed with the lack of communication. My fiancé and I inquired 4 different times, fully prepared and excited to adopt, but cannot get a response via application response, email, or Facebook. I understand it’s the holidays and they’re all volunteer- we were trying desperately to get a meet and greet before our kids go back to school to give our new fur baby a chance to adjust while we were all home on break. You, as an organization, can’t expect to get these babies adopted out when you don’t reply to the people that are eager and willing. And based on other reviews i’m reading, this seems to be a common issue. I urge your organization to do better, otherwise you’re doing these animals a disservice by denying them the chance to go to a loving home due to a lack of response on y

I am so thankful for Wags and whiskers. This is where I got my little Gracie/AKA Daisy. I wanted another Maltese but couldn’t afford to buy one, so I prayed and before too long I received her. She still has some quirks from her previous life but that’s ok I just love her right where she’s at. It’s been almost a year and she has really grown and opened up. Thank you Wags and Whiskers!

Pretty sure this place is a scam. I filled out the application online, which was full of personal information. After 3 days I finally got a response, "would you like to meet this sweet boy?" was all it said. I responded yes of course, that was 2 weeks ago. Still haven't heard anything back. What are they doing with all of that personal information? Beware, I wish I hadn't filled out that application because now they have all of my personal information and can do what they like with it. My family ended up adopting a puppy at the shelter in Picayune, MS. They were much easier to work with.

This place/service is absolutely terrible. I put in an application a week ago and they did not call or provide any information until 3 days They said I was denied and I did everything they asked to get approved and they said I was approved a day later and when I was supposed to see the dog all communication was stopped I reached out via email multiple times to get location and times. After jumping through all the obstacles On Facebook page I saw the dog I was trying to adopt would be in the adoption for petsmart. I planned to go see the dog at petsmart then this morning i saw the dog was adopted with no notice. I am happy the dog was adopted however it seems like they will do everything they can to not let you adopt a dog. I understand they want a good home for them but there methods dete

Lack of communication, we put an application for a dog in and heard back asked if we wanted to set up an appointment that day but asked if we could Thursday instead due to our work schedule. We never heard back sent another email to confirm Thursday but still did not hear back. We went to mobile spca anyway and had a much better experience.
