I never post reviews, but I really need to share this experience. We had a dog named ray who ended up dying from CHF. Dr. Mark Wachal was negligible at best with our chihuahua. When we first brought ray in at age 5, we were told he had a grade 4/6 heart murmur, Wachal never explained how dangerous this could actually be. Around November of last year (he was 12), he started having extreme seizures/syncope and his hacking was really bad and usually caused said seizures. We took him in to Wachal only to be told it was just epilepsy and was given proper meds… In Dec, he was VERY bad, seizures within seconds of each other and he was obviously struggling to breath, we ended taking him to the emergency vet next to shogun where he was FINALLY given oxygen and diagnosed properly with CHF… why di

My dog Buddy and I are so gratful to this place. The human society recommended this vet.Buddy and I have been working on some fear-based reactivity toward other dogs. The staff is very helpful with getting Buddy in the office without incident. They so patient and kind(with both of us 😇). You can tell that they care about Buddy and his physical/mental health. Every time I call with questions about Buddy's symptoms and behavior, they took the time to listen and provide detailed answers. We really really appreciate Wachal.

This place has taken care of us well for the last 15 years. The vets have worked with us, price match online services, and make great recommendations for the best care of our pets. Even this instance where it was time to put our dog down, they treated him and us with nothing but respect and helped us through the whole process.

My new favorite vet hospital! My elderly dog needed dental surgery and Wachal PHC did an outstanding job from start to finish. I was well-apprised about the preparation, the procedure, and the follow-up care. Every individual I interacted with was thorough, knowledgeable, and patient. The cost turned out to be lower than I expected. All-in-all, a great experience.

We've taken our pets to Wachal since 2011 and have never had an issue with the care our pets received, and it's run the gamut: wellness exams and vaccines, emergency surgery, teeth cleaning, boarding, end of life care. Everyone, doctors and techs are very attentive and caring for your pets needs. I never left the office feeling uncertain of treatment or lacking understanding of my pets' health. Highly recommended.
