Ehlers Animal Care

Every doctor and every staff member there are incredible! I also run a rescue and we take our animals to Ehlers too. Actually, I moved my own animals there because of how amazing they are to every rescue animal that they have treated for us! I can’t even pick a favorite vet, they have all been great! Dr. Martin treated a kitten that was found and brought to our rescue with a severely injured leg. We knew it was likely needing removed and they took him and did the surgery that day and he is now thriving on three legs and pain free. I’ll put “Matcha’s Day at the vet” pics below! He was so loved when he was there!

I cannot say enough wonderful things about Dr. Kerl and the entire team. My dogs, Dexter and MoMo, have both received care here, and I have always felt supported, heard, and genuinely cared for. Dr. Kerl is not only incredibly knowledgeable and thorough, but deeply compassionate in the moments that matter most. When Dexter was diagnosed with cancer, she took the time to explain everything clearly, walk through options thoughtfully, and make sure I felt supported through some of the hardest decisions of my life. I never once felt rushed or alone in the process. Dexter passed away on February 5th due to his cancer, and I will forever be grateful for the care and dignity he was given. My French Bulldog, London needed BOAS surgery - after getting quoted $7,000 from a vet in Omaha we decided to call Ehlers Animal Care and schedule a consultation. We expected to still be quoted around $3-5k. After checking her out we got her on their books for two weeks out. Friday the 6th we dropped her off in the morning and picked her up in the later afternoon, a whole $434 later our girl was ready to go home. Dr Ehlers didn’t feel the need to do her nose as her nostrils seem to be big enough. Monday I had a couple concerns, so I called them and they squeezed me in & we were given some other meds and supplements to help curb some of the side effects she was having. Went here to have both of my cats’ dental cleaning and left very pleased! I was very anxious going into it trying out a new place, but they answered all of my questions and made me feel comfortable knowing they would be in great hands. Prices are fair and appropriate. The staff is accessible, knowledgeable, and compassionate! Also, shout out to Kat C. for being amazing and giving me updates along the way!

We love Ehlers! We trust them, they have earned it! The staff is amazing, like family! All four of our boxers are or were patients. We would never let anyone else care for our babies unless it was emergency level stuff. It’s a clean and friendly environment and they know their babies!
