I wish I was writing this review under better circumstances, but I am eternally grateful to the entire team at VVC for the care they gave my dearly departed dog, Banjo. Banjo was hospitalized for two days, and it was absolutely awful being separated from him while he was going through such a hard time. But everybody I met and spoke to at VVC was kind and showed us nothing but compassion for the duration of Banjo’s stay, and I’m thankful knowing that he was in good hands. They were also very communicative and kept me updated frequently with everything that was happening, which I really appreciated. Although my poor baby boy could not be saved, I take comfort knowing that not only did the VVC team try their best to save him, they also made him as comfortable as possible as he made his journ

Dr. Laia and her IMED team have been wonderful and so supportive in helping us navigate our sweet pup's new diagnosis over the past 6 months. We are so grateful for their quick communication, support, and encouragement on this unexpected journey. Shout out to Austin for always being a bright light and welcoming face when we come to visit. Dr. Mercurio and the entire team at Virginia Veterinary Center at short pump were absolutely phenomenal in taking care of our dog, Tyrion. From start to finish, we felt confident that he was in the best hands. Dr. Mercurio clearly cares deeply about his patients—he took the time to speak with us thoroughly, even after hours, to make sure we fully understood the surgery, what was being done, and all post-operative care. The compassion, professionalism, and attention to detail shown by the entire staff truly stood out. Tyrion’s surgery and recovery went smoothly, and we are beyond grateful for the care and kindness shown to our little guy during such a stressful time. We cannot express our gratitude enough. Thank you all so much for everything you do.

We have had 2 major medical issues from our dog with multiple visits. The first medical issue in July 2025, we saw a neurologist. Although it was a total cost of about $10,000 for diagnostics and treatment with multiple visits. We were very pleased with our visits. The doctor was empathetic, listened, answered our questions and guided us to the best decision for the situation and our family. Our second medical issue we saw internal medicine (Dr.Dong) February 2026. Although she is probably very knowledgeable in this field. We felt sold to with every diagnostic test possible and no step by step guidance. Or a place to start. We received text book answers with no empathy or compassion. The diagnostics and possible treatment would have cost us an upward of $20,000. Because she recommended 3
